Sammy is the brown & cream Cali Kingsnake. I've seen a few brown & creams but usually with more brown than cream. I just loved the way Sammy was so affectionate.
Rosie is a lovely baby Python. She has a lot of high gold colouring and I'm wondering if she's het for something. Ironically we only got Rosie yesterday, take her home and discover we've had a tragedy. So far little Rosie seems to be settling in. She's spent all evening in her little cave but is out and wandering about her viv exploring at the moment.
Hard to believe Rosie fits in the palm of my husband's hand with loads of room to spare. However, she'll grow up to be bigger than these two. Bobby is the large Python coiled round my right arm. Byron is on my left arm. I've had Byron since he was the same size as Rosie and he is very tame and friendly. He's a character too - he's the only snake I've got who gives me a kiss every time I take him out. He also has a liking for drinking coffee as I found out one day when I was drinking a luke-warm cup of coffee and Byron was trying to force his way between my lips and the cup!!! I've got a pic somewhere of him stretching out towards my coffee cup. Of course, we don't let him drink it. Bobby the one on my right arm (the big one) was a rescue who very nearly died due to serious neglect before we got him from the rescue people. He's fine now but still a little shy. We also have a rescue Cornsnake who was badly burned at one time. He's gorgeous (and another character). He has bad scarring all down one side through coiling round an unguarded lightbulb which wasn't even on a thermostat. The previous "owners" sold him and his tank (which went straight in the rubbish as it was so filthy and dangerous) for £10 beer money ($20).
