Just commuted in with my usual AC Transit Transbay bus. Public transportation is apparently free today (yeah, but what about tomorrow??). We whizzed over the bridge- people did indeed decide not to drive in. It's getting back to Oakland from SF that is going to be the mess.
You might want to check on AC Transit, Trek. There are always bikes on the front of the buses I take- they're routes are pretty extensive:

The freeway/Richmond bridge from Marin to Richmod was deserted. Not the usual backup going from Richmond to Marin at all. I BART-ed in. The train was VERY crowded. I got engorssed and missed my stop and jumped out of BART at 12th street as the doors were closing and fell. Rookie mistake.
Got to work just fine and didn't even run my stockings!
