    But if you take the ferry you have to ride all the way across San Francisco. I'd rather ride Sausalito hill than deal with driving all the way across the city. I do think Sports Basement is worth a visit. It's huge and fun.

    Well I would not say all the way across various routes to choose from and depends on where you are staying.

    You might go along the Embarcadero then through the Presidio which is pretty rideable From Sports Basement it's easy to get up to GG Bridge then to Sausalito.

    Shop, eat, oogle the views of the Bay then choose either take the ferry back or climb back to GG bridge (very doable and great view of the Bay if you walk it).

    Sounds like a good ride to me.
