Interior Engineer. I work for a large auto company and coordinate development of the entire vehicle interior for future programs.

My husband and I also own a bike shop, but he's the one that works there full time. I just help on the weekends and occasionally after work.

I was a stay at home Mom for 7 kids for many years. When the children were close to being grown I taught music in school. Presently I give piano lessons, substitute, and help with music at school. My hubby does most the work at our farm, but sometimes I get called on for a host of different jobs.

After 12 years of working with mentally ill homeless adults I'm walking away from it. I'll be starting at the University library soon doing help desk stuff (handling system problems/issues with patron records...). It'll be nice to know that if I screw up, someone doesn't go without food/a place to stay/or end up hurt or dead...I really need a break.

I'm a secondary English/Language Arts teacher, currently teaching 6th grade English. It's a good time, though I would love to teach high school, too.

Day Drummer I send you much love for being a expert at getting blood from a turnip. My husband is on week three of hopsital stay (for who knows how long) and we both love the phlebotimists (even if I can't spell it) He's a hard stick and we would rather someone that knows what they're doing draw his samples!
I am a secretary at a small state university in Mississippi, (Delta State, home of the FIghting Okra) also a non tradtional student, working on a second degree (Psych). I want to teach somethingm, just as an adjunct- I need to keep my day job! I am also Mom to 2 fluffy pomeranians and these days I spend a lot of time driving back and forth from Cleveland to Jackson to see my husband who was just diagnosed with Leukemia.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Hey Hub - I didn't see this post when I posted my reply. What dept are you in? I just moved from Cleveland to Baton Rouge. Too bad we didn't get together when I was up there - I was always looking someone to ride with.
