    I used to shred or crumble it, and make chili out of it. Yum.

    let me count the ways

    I eat lots of tempeh, and in addition to the ways that have already been mentioned:

    1. Make a BBQ sauce (or use a bottled sauce), marinate, and pan fry on a nonstick skillet. Great for sandwiches or alongside rice & veggies.

    2. Saute onion & garlic, add cumin & paprika, soy sauce, a bit of toasted sesame oil, and a splash of beer (or vinegar). Crumble the tempeh into all that, and let it soak up the liquid while simmering. This makes a great "ground meat" substitute for tacos / burritos / chili. Add some tomato sauce and you get sloppy joes!

    Ok, that's only 2 ways. I'll keep thinking...

    I remember something I used to make with tempeh. I'd crumble it up and scramble it with some eggs and peppers and onion and top it with some shredded cheese.
