Hey Tracy...glad you got to go! I couldn't make it after all....grrrrrr. DH said he wanted to go, but actions speak louder than words and I couldn't get anybody in the house -- him or the kids -- to move their tush fast enough to make it up there in time. My teammate & friend Charlotte nabbed third...she's been rockin' this season thus far. She's podiumed her last four races or so. She's a Cat 3 and I heard she really held her own out there....painfully but she held it, nonetheless. She said it was tactical there at the end. Sounded exciting & I'm reeeeally sorry I missed it. The guys from Merced (Stanislaus-Merlock) and the CVC guys did well, too. It was an awesome day for all ('cept moi....I was pouting at home!![]()
).
I haven't looked past Santa Rosa yet....still nursing the hurt back, but I figure I can try this one and see how I do/feel from there. I've been fairly strong in training, our group rides have been fast lately, so we'll see.
Hope you can make it out to another one!

I'm racking my brain trying to remember the lady that was 3rd... it was a great race! The sprint at the end was pretty exciting!!! In fact, the women's race was almost more exciting than the pro/cat345 race at the endI remember seeing the Merlock team, and some women w/blue polka dot kits...
I wish I could go watch you at Santa Rosa but it won't work out this time ... I expect a full report though!!![]()
That would be the Metromint squad. There are some strong members. Edit: Here's their website...there are guys too. http://revolutionracingteam.org/?roster

Spazz, my husband has been going down there from time to time. He really likes it to the point we even picked up a track bike for him.He hasn't gone much this year, however, since he's concentrating his efforts on several road races for this year. (He's down in the LA area this weekend for one in fact).

We should do a TE night some Fri/Sat night... San Jose for dinner, the velodrome and perhaps Snapdragon sighting![]()
