I lost 3.5 pounds this week. A bit surprised. I was sick, so I barely got in any exercise, but also from being sick I didn't eat too much. Hopefully I can keep it off next week.

    Wrong Way!!!!

Despite 230+ miles last week, Mother-in-law cooking did me in. I gained 3.5 pounds, but I'm back on track the last two days.

It sounds as though everyone is doing well, either losing, maintaining, or back on track.

After not much last week, this week did show a loss off my hips (yay), BF%, and scale weight. My capris are loose-which is great!

Now to eat the Easter candy in moderation. Oh I do so love chocolately carmel/marshmallowy goodness....

    I lost TWO!

In the last 7 days I have spent 5-6 hours of most of them doing one or two very vigorous things. One day of hiking and camping, and the rest working in the garden. The gardening was the heavy duty kind, lots of sod-breaking and shoveling and lifting and transplanting, hauling bags of mulch and containers for the patio. NOT for the weak of heart. Those were all 3000 calories days!

Yesterday I had to put down our dog who was 20 years old, so two days I haven't felt much like eating. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

I don't think I'll meet the 10 before the Trip goal, but as long as I'm losing, I don't care. I don't want to have to buy new jeans before I go on my trip in two weeks, but it may be necessary!

Good luck to everyone trying to lose - and congrats to those who did!
Tagging onto this thread, if I may.

Was horrified to discover my weight has skyrocketed in the past few months.
So - starting weight of 136.5. Aiming for 121lb.

Hi Mountainchick! Join in!! Welcome!! It is really informal here, so just post your successes or not, everyone supplies a little encouragement and we all loose eventually!

I have remained static for a couple weeks after a big loss of 12 or more pounds in the preceding 5 weeks. My smaller jeans fit well now, and if I had my druthers, I would loose another 10, but eating right has gotten me this far, so I may be here awhile until the weather clears up and I am riding more.
