I've been carrying a big bag of carrot sticks and snap peas with me and didn't expect I would want to eat them but I can sit there and crunch on them endlessly. It fills the void, tastes ok, and add hardly any calories... I also carry those 100 calorie snack packs with me when I am really craving some sweet or salty carbs. But only one pack or I'll eat whatever I have...

I noticed a marked increase in my hunger when I first started cycling last year. I felt like I ate ALL the time. I called it "feeding the beast." As my miles have started to increase this year, I find myself being hungry much of the time again. I'm incorporating some snacks into my routine but I'm trying to keep it healthy. I would note that thirst can sometimes translate to hunger so be sure that you're watching your fluid consumption, too.

Yesterday I noticed that despite eating my usual pre-ride meal, I was hungry on the bike almost immediately. I was rather frustrated in that I ate a pretty big dinner the night before too, and don't know what more I can do. I find it hard to eat a lot in the morning--it makes me kind of nauseous. It's not bad right now since our club rides start at 10, but as they get earlier and earlier, I think it's going to be hard to wolf down more than the bare minimum.

    feelin hungry

I was finding i was hungry all the time, but when i turned my snacks into mini meals, i was feeling better. that means not eating single foods, (like just an apple), but a carb, a protein and a fat every time. So yogurt with berries and cereal for me.

I found that helped a lot. also, i wasn't drinking enough water so i put a water bottle every where i "hang out" like by my desk, in my car and by the TV.

frosted shredded wheat for me! I know the frosted part isn't that good for you but it really helps curb the stomach. And it is fiber too. But yes i tend to be famished from biking as well. I recommend some kind of protien as well. Peanut butter on sproited grain is always good. As long as it's not skippy (to much sugar) But if that is what you like go for it. top it off with some carrots. It's about what you eat to feed the monster.
