Wonder if they wanna hear from a woman who commutes?
"If Americans want to live the American Dream, they should go to Denmark." - Richard Wilkinson
They want all walks of life. Commuting included...
I'm a terrible writer so I'll pass. But those who can write should all do so. Wish you the best of luck.
And heck no, you not selling out.

When I clicked the link it took me directly to the "Women who ride" page. Is your computer cutting off the end of the link?
Anyway, the upshot is you send in an essay (500 words) and 3 pictures of yourself explaining why you should represent Trek for Women. If you win you have to keep a daily log, test ride Trek bikes, email your adoring public, and be video'd for 3 days. You may also have to do some public speaking.
You need to have a broadband connection. I have DSL, so I guess I'm out.
Sounds kinda fun.

Welp, I sent mine in (even tho' I'm not even srue *what* my access is - but it is big and fast and wireless... it's not where I usually sleep at night, but it's where I eat and feed the cats and water the plants...
I tell the site USA and English (prob'ly would wherever I was)... and it's pretty prominently displayed.
Of course, I'd want to read the small print before I actually signed up for something. This is Big Business and I love my Trek and rully rully love my local Trek dealer ... a little flag goes up when I see that the "due date" of april 30 is exactly the same as the day you're supposed to be able to commit to. So... do they let you know on 4/30... and then you start that day?

Knotted, just curious. What did you think broadband was?
Soooo......
You get to be a w***e for Trek, hawking their products for a bunch of free "tips" (Ooooo, you get to "ride and test" their bikes...not "own").
Sounds like a sweet deal for Trek.

yeah i wondered about that... I have dial up but considered asking work if i could use their access during non work hours... but I'm also planning a wedding and dont know if they're compensating whomever well enough for their efforts... I wonder if they'd let you have a bike or be able to get it at a significant discount when you're done testing them out.
I'm tempted to enter and then if I am fortuante enough to be selected, read the fine print.

Ditto on the US resident thing...
I'm a US resident, living on "US soil" but not in the US![]()
I thought broadband was cable, all high speed and sexy!
I am a fountain of ignorance!![]()
(umm, yeah... DSL on the phone line... aw, heck, I just turn the thing on and use it, I don't need to know HOW it works, right? Unlike my bikes, which I desperately want to know *exactly* how and why they work!)
