thanks... he just had surgery on Friday. We had a horrible 4 weeks of him being violently ill He almost died ... but we finally did surgery on Friday, and they found a piece of rubber from my laptop battery pack strap that he swallowed, it was lodged in his colon It was a bad 4 weeks, but he is better now. That pic of him under the sheets is from yesterday, his first day home from surgery

Poor little guy. I'm glad he's had that nasty piece of rubber removed. Orange kitties are so mischievious and will eat all kinds of things. At least mine did.

I hope he feels better.

thanks... yeah he rips up paper, and terrorizes his toy bears!!... but now I am leary of him having any toys... it was not a fun 4 weeks for him, poor guy. I don't know what he will eat next, argggggggh!

but yes, he is very precious, and OMG, so sweet and loveable. He is such a lover and such a brat, all in the same, LOL!! I got him from the shelter 1.5yrs ago, he was 1yr old then... he came in a stray... I consider myself the lucky one in finding him

The day here in the Seattle area did not start out too great. I was supposed to have done a morning ride but the grey clouds and light wet stuff I saw outside my window this morning put an end to that. I thought it would be a gym day but around 2:00 PM the clouds started to part, blue skies appeared, and the temp was getting nice, sooooooo hubby, our daughter, and me ventured out and we got a wonderful 15 mile ride in before dinner.

A very windy day. I figured that could be used as hill training in the flatlands. So I headed into the winds for about 17 miles. Seriously slow going and occasional crosswinds nearly knocked me off my bike. But coming home again, I had some good stretches of tailwinds and I was actually speeding at one point. Rolling down a hill with tailwinds into a little village where the speedlimit is 30mph, I was doing 30.5! I was pedalling as fast as I could, but alas as soon as the hill leveled out I slowed down. Then I hit headwinds again the last 6/7 miles home. 40miles total, but felt really tough with all the wind.

I'm cranky - rode 20 miles in the basement yesterday. Mother Nature is a mean old woman...

67 degrees at 5:15 a.m!!!!!!!!!!!!! had a 74 mile flat/windy ride that ended at noon at around 90 degrees. i can smell orange blossoms, every day last week was in the 90's, leaves are appearing on my mulberry trees, life is good.
