Thanks for the votes of confidence Knot and BMo3! Alcohol was one of the foods I tested as sensitive to, according to the naturopathic testing, so I am supposed to avoid it as carefully as wheat, corn, dairy and sugar (and all those other things).

But, screw it. I'm about to pour that glass as soon as I get the potatoes mashed!

    yum!

We had steak with home made bbq sauce sugar-free, tomato-free, etc; sauteed mushrooms and colourful peppers in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, coriander, cumin, garlic; mashed potatoes. And, of course, 1/2 glass of wine.

Cr@p!! I never thought about there being wheat in soy sauce. I'm off to the fridge to read some ingredients.

It's so hard to avoid all wheat products.

Edit: Just came back from the fridge, wheat is the second bloody ingredient in the d@mn soy sauce from the health foods section of my store.

Western Family soy sauce, $1.49 for a big ol' bottle, NO WHEAT!!! whoo-hoo! I'm thinkin' your Roseaur's probably has Western Family?

Sometimes the wheat-free versions of things are cheaper than the 'regular' stuff.

Thanks Knott. Rosie's definitely carries Western Family. I love stirfry so this is a priority.

Yup, that one shocked me too! San-J makes a wheat free as well, but I bet Western Family is cheaper!
