I DID scratch up the new road bike--on both handlebars above the brakes. Well, it'll make a good story.

So today I try to get out and had made my first of three planned 5-mile loops when I stop for water to see that my little pack behind my seat was unzipped. No cell phone! Driver's license and multi-use tool still there. I rode back home and there was the cell phone right where I left it on the stairs.

I head back out and, you guessed it...more rain.
