Ok ladies, I figured this is the group that can help me out. I'm looking for a wool t-shirt with a spunky graphic on it, anyone know where I can find one?

I'm going on a long trek, but also want my trekking clothes to be street savvy when out on the town at the beginning and end of the trip. Admitedly, a great t in great colors is plenty, but would like a splash of spunk!

Is it specifically for biking in? Or just for traveling around?

Icebreaker makes some really nice and funky merino t-shirts. They are quite expensive, but I have one of the long sleaved ones and really like it. You can get some of then cheaper on e-bay, otherwise EMS and Moosejaw have them decently prices and sometimes on sale. I found that they are really fitted, so tend to run small.... I usually wear a medium in t-shirts, and am really glad that I ordered a large in mine.

Where are you going trekking? Have a great time!

Lisa - It's for hiking in (I plan to take two wool tees), we'll be hiking Slovenia (since we did Guatemala on the bike last year, we thought we'd try our feet this year).

PABadger - I'll look at the Icebreaker, thanks for the advice!

Ibex has a few t-shirts in their outlet section. www.ibexwear.com One of them has a flower, one has the Ibex "goat" logo. Neither has spunky graphics, but they are cheap!

Just got back from Bike Expo where I had a bonding moment with the Ibex rep (who also happens to be a Chaco rep! my two favorite brands in one person!). My report is in the Northwest forum, and is mostly about Ibex!

Nope, no Brooks. I was kinda bummed about that. Poor SKnot was feeling mighty poorly, but I'd've force the poor kid to stay longer if there'd been a Brooks rep! Hey, the boy scored a pair of socks from the Ibex guy, so life is good. (I got a Meru hat)
