    LIsa, you could just ride on rims too, the rubber tires and tubes add a lot of weight.

    Thanks Mimi, I tried these on my bike a while back (tubes are for SISSIES), but again, I had the added weight issue to address, so I went back to my old tires.

    If you're burly enough to ride that then I wouldn't think weight would be an issue. Maybe you should get wheels that match. As for breaks, just do it the Flintstones way.
