Thanks everyone for your replies, good to hear it's not just me (although not so good for everyone else!).

My local hardware store usually stocks the screws in packs of 100 for pennies, but is currently out of stock, so when they come back in, I'll have a few spare!

Roadie Gal - which loctite is the blue one? I'm based in the UK and fear the packaging may be different here. I don't want to end up super gluing my screws in by mistake!
