It appears my Girl Scout form of crack is no longer available. I LOVE the Lemon Pastry Cremes. Alas, I have not seen them this year. It is like I am in detox.

Try the Lemonades - kind of a lemon shortbread with icing.

Back in my day they were called Savannahs, I do believe.

I wish they'd quit messin' with the names, it's so confusing.

Had a pusher at my door yesterday, but no lemon ice thingies, they don't make them any more

And if you move around the country you'll find that there are different bakers for the Girl Sprouts - so crack varieties may vary beyond the standard - MUST have THIN MINTS. But one place I lived I discovered THEY made theirs with chocolate cookies covered in chocolate mint. Gimme gimmee gimmee

And back in the day when I pushed crack, it was 50 cents/box.

Once upon a time someone told me the GS cookies were made by Famous Foods of Virginia (or First Foods, or Finest Foods, or something like that)

I was able to get all the GS cookies I wanted right off the shelf of my grocery store. MMmmmmm.

Can't eat any of it anymore, but I remember my elation at discovering Thin Mints right there in Safeway!
