I'm with you, Traveller - "Inherited" spices in the cubboard.

I think I saw a McCormick ad with the coupons in a recent Sunday paper insert that mentioned this about the Baltimore address and the tin cans. I have dried mustard that's been following me around since I moved out of my parent's house...in 1990! I never use it, but gads! I can't throw it out.

But is it just me, or do I find it hard to find plain old basic spices anymore? Am I not looking in the right section? I go to the store and they have all these blends- "Lemon and Herb" "Steak House" and who knows what else. I just want basic old basil. Or dill weed. Why is that so hard to find?
