I rode with the TNT group Saturday. Second training week with Team in Training; getting ready for the Century Ride in May.
It was rainy, wet, windy and road grime was our friend; but I was grateful that is was not too cold. Mid 60's; mild and even a bit humid.

I did not mind the rain so much but we did go over a bridge and had to ride part of the way in between the road turtles and quite a bit of debris. That small space between the turtles made this newbie quite nervous! But hey! I did it! And I did not fall or get a flat! Yippee!

We completed 25.5 miles; most of it in the rain. Today we were reading the paper and found that wind gusts yesterday were running between 20-30 mph! Yikes! No wonder I was so tired. But hey, I slept great last night!

I really wish our training ride was today...it is totally perfect outside! Blue skies, sunny and mild. Eh, wouldn't you know it? Well, we learned how to ride in the rain anyway.

You all have a good week!
