They have nothing, who would I sue? But Brandi's pictures of Hawaii are just killing me.

Thom talked to the insurance adjuster. We can either give them the recovered items as salvage or give back the money they gave us for the item. I expect we'll work it out on a case by case basis.

The good thing is most of our personal paperwork was still in their apartment. So in a few years we can stop worrying about someone trying to get credit as us.

The thing about the adoption agency is just depressing. I've never wanted kids, so I can only imagine how awful it must be to want them and to be unable to conceive. So you pay oodles of money to an agency, who is supposed to make sure you get a healthy baby. But the agency clearly didn't do much of a background check on these two or any sort of follow up. The chick was wanted for something else, so didn't even have the option for bail. The agency had been paying their rent for 18 months!

It's just gross all around. I sincerely hope that whoever has the baby now, loves it and gives it a good chance at life. It's going to be a rough road for that kid. I can only imagine what being born already addicted to something must to do to a little one's health and growth. It makes me sick, that total lack of concern for a life you created. I'd like to see them get some nasty punishment for that too!
