Thanks V. TRUE MTB is very hard here too. What I meant was, I would take my MTB out on the road for a spin just because I don't want to get my sparkly road bike dirty after paying for my overhaul.

DH and I have changed our minds though. We're takin' the road bikes out and facing the weather. It's not too cold, just a little windy and wet. We should be fine. He'll ride with me for a couple of hours, then I'll be on my own.
