Hey, great job. You are making progess. The time willimprove, you will see. Try to remember, as humans, it is not our natural environment, or our natural mode of transport.
It will come...
Keep it up!!!

Alpine, hang in there.
I've been retraining with Total Immersion and weaning myself off fins for the last two months and my progress seems frustratingly slow. I don't feel very "fishlike" but my coach keeps telling me I am improving. He keeps telling me the speed and endurance will come, so I'm using it as my mantra when it seems to take forever to reach the other side of the pool.
It will come... it will come.... IT WILL COME!![]()

Swimming is insidious. Progress sneaks up on you. YOu won't even notice it, until one day you're feeling infinitely more confident in the water and are able to go longer. You'll be all, 'When did that happen?'
It happens, you'll get there, you're doing great! Just look at what improvement you've made... you've gone from little technique to solid (although improvable) technique in 2-3 months. Imagine what you can do in another 2-3 months now that you've got the technique down!
K.
Sounds like you are really coming along!
Keep at it... and you will get better and your distance will improve!
Great job!
