*deep breath* OK. Well. Give me a moment because my head is still spinning.![]()
The stats: He's 25 (I'm 27). We actually started chatting online because he is moving to my town this summer or so from about 45 minutes away. We talked on the phone for at least 3 hours every night last week before we met. He runs his own business. Never married, no kids.
We met for lunch at an Italian restaurant that has a gluten-free menu. He gave me a present when we met. Sometime during our phone calls, I mentioned I have a favorite scented lotion that Bath & Body Works was discontinuing. He actually got me a candle of that same scent!!! I was blown away.![]()
Oh and he's really cute, too. I have seen pictures, but don't have them saved on my hard drive. Some other time.
During lunch, he was genuinely interested in what I can eat, and kept asking if he didn't mind if he ate gluten foods in front of me, so that was very sweet. We talked for several hours at the restaurant to the chagrin of our waiter.![]()
Afterward, we went walking and just kept talking. At the end of the night, we held hands, hugged and I got a quick peck to say goodnight. Our date was nearly 10 hours of just talking. It was just an amazing connection. I feel like I could tell him absolutely anything. He's a great listener.
A caveat is he doesn't bike, but I'll fix that.He has said he would go mountain biking with me, after we both get mountain bikes. Which is *really* *really* *really* cool because my ex-fiance wouldn't do ANYthing active with me.
We're going to go hiking next weekend. I can't wait!
