This is some of the UGLIEST stuff I've ever seen!

    Let's see more!

P.S. after having dragged myself out of bed at 5:30 am for YEARS just to lie on the couch in a miserable sleep-deprived state while my toddler daughters ate cereal and watched Sesame St...I can safely say if I EVER see Big Bird or hear "A La Peanut butter sandwiches!" again it'll be too soon.

The rest of it is OK. More of a personal preference thang - sort of like Snap liking the Big Bird jersey.

I think the kid's jersey is adorable. I love the evil grin on the scorpion.

Yikes that stuff is oooogley! And, I like Castelli clothing.

Those clothes wouldn't even look good on a guy let along a shapely woman. I wonder what they were thinking about when they designed those.

I think those shorts could use some giant red ARROWS pointing to the circled crotch target! After all, why beat around the bush?

    (sorry!!)

(Yeah, I know, and this coming from BeeLady with the target bazooms...)

That other stuff is just hideous but I do love this kids jersey. Some of the kid jerseys out there are so cool I wish they made them in bigger sizes so I could wear them.

I have nothing against Big Bird but those colours are awful.

Yeah - that kid jersey is great. The rest looks like it came from Fredericks of Hollywood or something.

But there is some twit who wants to ride around looking like a mobile hooker. If Castelli doesn't sell any of that crap, they deserve what they get. JMHO.

I tend to go for rather plain jerseys. At least no flowers or boob handprints.

I have sooooo enjoyed reading your comments.

Some "inside" info for you: I asked the Pearl folks about the colors on the Big Bird jersey, because I thought they could have made better color and design choices, especially with something as fun as Big Bird. Turns out they had no design control over the piece at all. The color and design was dictated by the sesame street folks.

As a childless workaholic, I haven't seen Sesame Street in decades. Perhaps the color and design scheme ties into a current theme on show. Anyone know?

In general, we're seeing a lot of green for 2007 and the whole retro thing is going strong, so I won't be surprised if we sell a fair number.

On the Castelli Cuore Jersey, I think it's different strokes for different folks. You'll see that piece on TE sometime in the next few weeks. We bought 15 or so pieces, as I recall. Castelli's headquarters are right here in Portland, so we speak with them alot. The National Sales Manager told me that jersey was very strongly received in several regions of the U.S. One of the things I really appreciate about Castelli is that they are one of the few companies willing to go out on a limb, style-wise. Alot of companies play it pretty safe. Castelli isn't afraid to take a risk now and then. It certainly creates some buzz!

It's interesting, Susan. 100% of the men I've spoken to like the Cuore jersey. I think someone tall and lean could carry it off. I think it is very striking but the person who wears it needs to be very careful.

I don't dislike the Cuore jersey as much as I do a lot of the other ones on the Castelli site (the Maya jersey is nice). In fact, if I had a ride on Valentine's Day I would love to wear it... but that's only one day. I can't see spending $100+ on a novelty item.
It's no wonder that men find the jersey attractive, Sadie. When I was looking through the Castelli site, I kept thinking to myself, "I bet a bunch of men designed these!"
