I was just happy that I could wear my suede jacket without my winter coat over top yesterday. It was a balmy 38 here yesterday! The snow is melting.

Yeah, Mimi, I had ice on my windshield! And it was chilly enough I actually needed a nylon JACKET! Gasp!

Heee heee! Spring has sprung! Clear sunny skies, beautiful sunrise as the dog and I were out running on the forest-paths around the apt complex. Birds singing their little heads off! Little babbling brook in the neighborhood next door. Sunbeams lighting up the ferns. The smell of coffee wafting through the trees....

(have I made it sound idyllic yet?)

yes dar i'm still here. we had some good gusts last night, but not as much snow. the majority of it went around us. though we had some good drifts. there was a 3ft one coming up the driveway to work and another one in front of the office. don't worry i was good, i waited till they plowed a path for me, and then ken helped me in the building so i didn't slip. between us i think he wanted to drive my quad around to park it.

still suppose to get some more snow today, but its warm out a whole 34*F, hey CC we have almost the same temps. to bad mine is in F and your's is in c.

glad you got more snow BM3 and hope you had some too X.

Yesterday it was -15C here and snowing and blowing to boot. I gave up on going to the gym, since I don't shower there. I just pull some wool and fleece on over my sweaty gym clothes and hike home. It's been ok so far, but -15 + wind chill ...? Næh. Today, however, it wasn't quite so cold. Maybe -8 when I left work, and since I was at my usual campus today I had to hike home pretty much past the gym anyway. So today I did a 55 minute class, and when I came out to hike home ... it was RAINING This is not a sign of Spring yet. This is just a sign of slush now and ice tomorrow when it turns cold again. Ææææsj! (That's yuck in Norwegian)

Dad called about an hour ago - mom's surgery went longer than expected. The artery was almost 100% blocked. I think she is a very lucky woman. I've had a good cry - nerves and relief. Dad thinks she may have to stay overnight at the hospital, but otherwise everything went well.
