I wish I could count my walking commuting miles, my snowshoeing miles, and be able to convert my kickboxing time into miles....then it would look like I'm actually *doing* something!

    Go girls of TE!!

Hmpf. I saw that club and thought "Oooh, rock climbers!"

But it's for people who are into weight training. It's not enough just to have biceps. Hmpf.

    Thumbs up

Well! If the weather prognosticators are to be believed -a dubious proposition at best- we could actually have riding weather very soon. At least, they are forecasting the kind of weather where there is nothing in the air except...well...air. No rain, no snow, no ice, no wind, trees, fences, garbage cans, or small animals blowing by in a horizontal fashion....just plain calm, air. And maybe even a little sun! It is almost beyond comprehension.

Bikes are tuned and ready, and restless like a team of Huskies, so here's hoping I can get a little distance between causes and effects and contribute a little to the TE effort.

Hey, it actually got up to 32F today, and I rode a measley 13 miles and managed to stay warm. The roads were nice and dry, and it was snowing big fluffy pretty snowflakes all the while I was riding. Very festive! But that's better than nothing- had been sick for a week, and have to work my strength back again- but forcast calls for in the teens over the next few days, so the 13 miles is all I could manage for now.... I also walked 3 miles earlier this morning.

well - I'm 13th, but still 116km behind you CC... and some 700km behind PP!!

Doing my best, but I'm back to work this week, so trying my best not to let it crimp my style.

Trek! (sorry my brain did not register your name - doesn't matter where you live - you still belong to us ) So if we look at the top 20, we also have Rey from Perth and Trek from Aussie too, but currently lurking in Nevada.

But only four Australians and one NZer in the top 20... c'mon Antipodeans!!!

But you and your bike are not in the Southern Hemisphere, so it ain't summer. For mastadon-heritage folks such as myself, it's easier to get miles in cold than HOT. I do like desert animals and crawl under rocks
I *thought* BJ was going to change so you could have your miles and eat them too... it could still come.
I'm going to think this weekend and just maybe start doing exercises fro the rest of the body ... if I do it for a week I'll get on that Biceps group, too. Hey, it's kind of a "make your own rules" club, anyway. If I pick up my bicycle ten times I'd call that weightlifting.
