Yeah, I've been getting a little stressed, thinking "I tought it was $10-20 limit and there's an awful lot of fancy stuff folks are getting." So I try to keep things within that limit (sometimes, shipping puts me over that, tho'), and I feel stingy, but I know I shouldn't.
So, let's stress the "don't go too crazy, folks" and I'd be up for red and heartfelt, too.

I never quibble or worry over the dollar amount of a gift -- I'm just excited to get anything at all from my SS!

    Mmmm.... like yummy cocoa mix.

    postage

Ummm my main stumbling block is the freakin postage!!! I try to keep the cost down but the post office folks just want to see me cry each time i send a package..

Just another thought here ladies-I thought of the RED theme as I think February is "heart month"in support of the Heart foundation..i think???
    So, pink/red-blood, heart..understand? I don't mean send valentine type things as that's just overrated/boring.

Perhaps this month send something that supports a local business/craftperson/etc or something homemade..IE.from the heart..

I sure hope in a roundabout way you understand my thought...

One time I had to postpone my sending cause buying the gift wasn't a problem but I had to save money for postage. You should seen the face of the women behind the glass when I said ...How much money?! , thank you very much, I'll come back when I receive my paycheck

But received gift always cheers me up so it's worth it. I make a pause sometimes when it's too much for me. But if it's home made I'm in. I love doing stuff like that

    stuck

I'm stuck on what I can make for my ss. I'm not creative.. I want to find some Australian material to sew something but i don't have a sewing machine plus I don't know how to sew and need to know what I could make?

Help.. Bike related ideas would be helpful...

What about a collage of beaches in Western Australia?

Anywho, if you're reading this: the theme is from the heart- home made or something similar.

Crazy-needs lots of help with this one-Canuck...

The gifts don't HAVE to be homemade, do they? I think that's just suggestion, right? The other idea is something from local craftspeople, artists, etc.

I can be pretty crafty when time allows, but just now, it doesn't. We've got some cool local artists though.....

Eeps! The only thing I know how to make are dinner reservations at a good restaurant!!
I'll have to search for "red" and "from the heart." Oh...and "from a store."
