Dear pair of self-absorbed mothers pushing strollers side by side on the narrow, uphill part of the bike path this morning:
Yes, I was riding on the bike path and yes, when you saw me approaching at a fairly high speed and did not go single file I did ride just as close to you as I possibly could while maintaining my pace, scaring the bejeebers out of you.
I'm not sorry. You were coming towards me. You saw me coming from yards away as the path was perfectly clear. Yet you did not move over one millimeter. I was perfectly able to judge where I could ride in order to pass you very closely without slowing down or actually endangering you or your progeny. I am hoping that next time you see a cyclist coming towards you that you will move over.
Sincerely,
the spandex wonder![]()
PS - kids on the bike path who don't have control of your bikes and don't really know where you're supposed to be, don't read anything into this. I will continue to slow down and give you guys a wide berth. You aren't old enough to be worrying about looking out for anyone but yourselves.![]()
