I did these two crafts as well... and succeeded in getting it done without burning myself or any loss of blood!

First I apologize for the camera phone pics, my USB cord for my digital camera is MIA after our move.

My tree is finally trimmed! This is the last year for our little $20 Walmart special. It has been my tree since my first apartment alone (5 years ago), but next year we will get one that is less ummm cheap. Here she is in all her leaning glory.

My cute New Zealand ornament from the my November SS!

    Our 2005 ornament- a Paceline.

And finally, my dog's stockings! I am so proud of these.

Now I just thought she was trying to get a better look at your bike!

Mine will go up this afternoon. I have 2. One will go in the front room (the rest of the year known as the 2nd bedroom/computer room/craft room/walk-in closet ) It's a themed tree, all snowmen (snowpeople?)

The other will be in the living room which holds all of the other decorations.

You would be disappointed to see that is my husband's 2005 Cannondale R5000. The bike got moved when the cable guy came and was working in our study, now it seems quite at home in the dining room.

Boy it has been tough but we finally got our tree and decor up yesterday. We have been gone so much for work and stuff it was hard this year. We are trying to get into the the spirit of things weather we want to or not! We got home from work on thursday (we have been gone since before thanksgiving) and have already been to two christmas party's. We are glad we went though. As my dh and I were sitting drinking our rum punch's at one we were in aw at the fact the christmas is really close all of sudden! Gotta get busy!

Still don't have the tree up at home, but here's my office trees. Little green one has been around for years, and the shiny silver one is new this year---I found it at Target for $2.50, how could I resist!

I'm so jealous of all of you. We made the huge mistake of deciding to have some remodeling done and of course it's taking MUCH longer than anticipated. Maybe by the middle of next week it will be done. Then I can haul out the decorations and put up a tree - if there are any left to be had! Note to self: never begin a big project after Halloween expecting it to be done by Thanksgiving, let alone Christmas

I'm getting in the spirit vicariously, so thanks to all who have put up pictures of your lovely trees .

We put up our tree on the weekend. Several fire nogs later, we thought it looked rather nice!

It's nice getting the house all decorated; gets us in the mood so it's not all shop shop shop.

We ordered a fresh turkey for the first time, too. I'm looking forward to not dealing with frozen and doing it wrong *again*

    Merry Happy to everyone!

    Namaste,

Thank you ! I believe the heron (bird) Is made by a company called old world ornaments. And the cat I believe is a dept 56 ornament. It is a certain line of theirs. Or it is halmark but I don't think so. You see this line in all the gift shops. It is a lot of animals dressed up in strange costumes.

Aggie... that leaning tree is so cool! I have been known to buy the littlest, least perfect tree on the lot cause it needs a home too... and I love the doggie stockings...

    Brandi... whooo... looks great!

OK... here's my tree... I did the ribbon thing for the first time this year...
