Dar, have you tried the Choxie chocolate that they have at Target??? OMG, it is very, very good. They have these "regional" bars, now too, which are very dark and excellent.

Knot, are you sure your charger's working? They always seem to go bad.

dark chocolate: Trader Joes, Lindt, Scharffen Berger, Blanxart, etc and etc.

I don't turn down any chocolate!

Just tried a Hershey's Nibby Bar yesterday. Ok, but not spectacular.

Ohhh, Scharfen-Berger Nibby bars are the best! I just picked a couple up at Beverages and More, where I bought no beverages.

Round three of the application/resume has made it's way downstairs to the analyst in HR. God, I hope it passes. I don't think I can do any more revisions.

I signed up for Cooking Light's cookie a day. They send a different cookie recipe each day, today's is Amaretti. They sound yummy, I'll add them to the baking list.

Shhhhh. I think I'm finished with my Christmas shopping. How'd I do that? Truly a first for me!

Nanci - I'm glad Addy is gaining weight. If I ever get to Florida, I want to meet all your critters.

withm - Let me guess, were you diving at Willow Springs Park? I love that place. It's my nearby get-away-from-it-all place. I mean really where else around here can ya go and dive for a train, airplane, trucks, a school bus, even an outhouse! The little beach area is nice too. Just swim/float around and then lay out on the floating docks... aaaaahh. The water is crystal clear spring water too. Here's a link if anyone is interested... http://www.willowspringspark.com/
I know what you mean about Lucy and Ethel. I get that same thought everytime I go in there.

KG - sorry about the play. That sucks. Cool though about Meatloaf. He's great in concert. Have fun.

Lisa - I guess that means you don't want any Buds? In my world, all chocolate is equally beautiful...

Knot - Melt down is not good. Good thing your about to get a total recharge... just in time. I know you don't need us to tell you to have a blast, it's guaranteed.

CC - Well, we could try and if they melt, you can just stiffen them up in the freezer and have a big slab to eat later. I have your addy so I'll send ya some. Hope you like them.

Trek - I'm predicting you get a phenominally better bonus this year.

AG - digital cameras? Jeez, I've never gotten anything, not even a company party. Very cool. My hospital is giving gift certs this year for some local places. I took mine for a free massage at our women's center. No brainer to me.

Thanks CA ladies for your input on my trip. Very much appreciated. I'll probably go with Oakland. Hey AG - wanna ride Cindy? (oh, c'mon - you knew that was coming... ) So didja call that dude that took you to the show yet? Watcha waitin' for? Go on, you know you wanna!

BMo3 - I'll be leaving here early Sat morning and should be there around noon. Work for you? Oh, the hitch is on and it's correctly installed too thanks to my bro. Yup, gotta love him. Good guy and most importantly, knows how to roll his bill correctly...

Edit: took out the pics. Sorry but I respect his privacy so they are gone.

    'night TD.

Trouble is, I'd have to eat a half pound of them to feel...choco-fied. And we all know where that half pound would wind up...right on my hips!
    Must...stick...with...strong chocolate...so I...don't eat....too much!

Busted! Yeah I used to help teach diving, and we took our classes up there for check-outs. Some of those trips were brrrr cold. Here are some pix from two different chilly Nov. weekends up there. It's sort of biking related - some of these guys ride bikes when they aren't diving. The first shows some pretty good waves on the quarry - little whitecaps! Next is the teaching staff. And how we amused ourselves after the diving was done. Sadly the entire park has been sold, and they are supposed to close on the deal the end of the month. I don't know what will happen after that. The owners were always really great for us - we were probably up there 15-20 weekends a year for a while. Maybe I'll have to go do the New Year's Dive up there for one last time.
