Corn chips are good, too. After seeing too many jars of pickled fish/eggs/mystery creatures bouncing in jars behind country bars, I just can't do the pickled "thingy" eating. And, weirdly enough, tho' it could get me kicked out of TE, let alone TD, I don't really like chocolate much........ unless it's really deep, dark bitter chocolate. Like 72% or more cocoa, no milk chocolate sweetness for me. Look at it this way...... more for the rest of you!

Annie, now THAT'S a midwestern thing - I don't do pickled things from bars!

Snap, does Chloe eat the soft chews on their own or do you have to hide it in anything? The vet recommended that for Zeus since he's been moving kind of slow after out walks.

Yep, my baby girl has a bladder infection. But the vet didn't give her anything yesterday, he needs to finish up a test today so he knows which antibiotic to give her. Does that make sense? I hate having her hurting any more than she needs to.

So picture this. I know my dog has a bladder infection and is having accidents, yet I knowingly leave her in the house yesterday (can you say brain fart?). Care to guess what happened???? I smelled it when I went into my bedroom last night - she piddled on the playroom carpet. A huge, stinky puddle. Dang it anyhow, what was I thinking? I soaked up as much as I could and doosed it with Natures Miracle. I sure hope the stink comes out. Lesson learned - they're in the garage today.

KG, poor boy! That is cruel yet there's always one kid who tried it. I remember the kid in our class that did.

Raining today and in the 50's. Highs in the 20's after today - here comes winter!

OTG - so do you still have a job today?

Lise - it's pop girl. Get on board

The December issue of More magazine has a bike in it. Page 104. A beeeeuuuuutiful lugged steel step-through with 3 speed internal hub, looks like a Raleigh from what I can see of the headbadge. Fenders, rack.

aaaaand, they spray-painted the ENTIRE THING white!!!!

Yeah, sure, it emphasizes the red stockings and red shoes the model is wearing, but how could they do that?

Anyway, I dreampt about that bike last night. Dreampt I bought it super cheap and someone was gonna help me fix it.

My mom had a bike kinda like that when I was 9 or 10, and I remember what a treat it was when she'd let me ride it. First bike with gears and handbrakes that I rode.

(wonder if the More people know about ghost bikes, and if they donated that bike after the photo shoot? where did the bike go? to a dumpster, probably... sigh)

The vet just called. Xena has a really bad bladder infection My poor baby! I won't get home until quarter to six. So I called them back and nicely asked if they'd walk over and give her the first dose. They will! There are benefits to living 2 doors down from the vet - yeah!

    Happy Birthday Mimi!

So are you having cake and ice cream tonight? What kind of birthday traditions do you guys celebrate?

Went and got my oil changed for lunch - oooh, such fun I have. Still thinking about my baby girl at home in the garage...

I am not having cake and icecream tonight. not sure what is happening Saturday when we celebrate DH's birthday AND mine. Maybe my mother will make a cake or my son will make a pie.

My husband might take me out for dinner tonight; i am not really sure.

He is very pleased with himself about this jersey which i wore to work (half
    the building is empty..)
    it's warm.
