    That is great news!

In the link you sent, I love the styling of the Limar 801 and, even though I don't need one now, I am considering getting one. Someone please stop me ...

Lisa, I just clicked on the link, and there are NO yellow helmets left, so I sure hope you got the last one and won't get an email from them telling you that they don't *actually* have that color!

That happened to me with some shoes I wanted to order (on sale) from Nashbar. It showed my size on their site, I went through checkout, got an order confirmation from them and everything. The next day, I got an email saying that the shoes were not available after all, and as a result, they were cancelling my order. That sucked!

The yellow Limar is really nice - let us know if you get it. Better yet, a picture of you in it would be just perfect!

    Yes Emily,
That is a fear I have as well- that the order went through but they don't actually have it. ONe good sign is that the yellow one was listed yesterday and now is not- perhaps i DID get the last one?? (or maybe they just updated their mistaken inventory)
Got an automated email confirmation. Will wait to see if it comes in the mail now. Will post if/when I get it or not. It sure looks cool....and it will match my TE yellow gloves:

    and my TE windpro jacket:

I LOVE that jacket by the way- so snuggly, and it moves/stretches when I do. Softer than it looks in the picture, but nicely tailored.

DH says I look like a skindiver with my yellow jacket and gloves and my black balaclava when it's cold out. He calls me "Sweetie Cousteau". Hmm....maybe I'll have to do a little "skin diving"

the yellow helmet I would like

The following yellow helmet might cause cars to stop . I saw it on several teams on the Tour de France (the picture below is Euskaltel Euskadi in the Vuelta). It is a Catlike "Whisper", a Spanish brand not distributed in the US.

Lisa S.H: No news must be good news regarding your yellow Limar. The other yellow helmets in the site you bought have all disappeared from the listings (the Limar 911, for example).

I got the yellow Limar helmet today, 3 days after ordering it. Got the one PLL pointed out:

I have a very small head, even for a woman, and I got the size Medium (unisex, I assumed). It fits fine with all the straps tightened up to the max. Adjusted that way, it's a nice snug fit. A very nice bright yellow color. It actually curves to better protect my forehead and the back of my head than my old helmet. Points out in back a little more, alien style, and is a bit wider all around on the putside. I like it. And it goes with my yellow bike jacket and gloves.
So yes, I guess I got the last one! (except for a $125 identical one I also saw for sale online, but who'd want to pay that much for a helmet that typically sells for $60-80??)

PLL, that Catlike Whisper helmet is strangely attractive. They look like a swarm of Honeycomb Bee-Head men! I can't see how it would be very aerodynamic though, with all those holey bumps.

    Congratulations!

And, indeed, "strangely attractive" is a good description of how I feel about the Catlike Whisper.

I want one of those holy helmets now... Kinda like the Tarnhelm, is it?

I could win the Tour de France with that, or at least look like the winner.

(uh-oh, I'm being obscure again, aren't I? quick, someone get me an OED and leave me in a dimly lit quiet room for a while)

You are to funny. I like that idea though, solar power to get up the hills. I'd have to charge it all day.
