Lise - my sympathy on the scheduling thing. It will work out, and like you said it's four months away!

One of our staff had her panties in a wad over the fact that my "team" has a 4 day weekend at New Years. Well, we all work some variation of 4 10hr shifts, and our team switched days off to give us a 4 day weekend. We're still working all our hours for that week, still seeing all our patients. Heck, everyone could do that if they wanted to!

sometimes bitterness and resentment can be exhausting to deal with.

gonna be lame and not bike to work today, because muscles that have never bothered me before are still scolding me for my optimism yesterday. I await the moment when I can decend stairs without looking like this

yeah, I got around 11 hours of sleep last night. Unheardof for me. but I'm feeling good now.

x- yay! I'll send you sketches!
cwr- Can I have some sketches back sometime?
KG- Won't go there. you know how I am about that stuff.

    yay! I'm awake!
oooh... ah! ooh! Aaaagh! ....and I need Tiger Balm!

Anyone else think it's a bit odd for someone to join TD and make their first post a baring of their soul regarding a relationship breakdown?

Off to work - hi ho, hi ho. I'm not riding to work today either, Kits. Getting there is easy, coming home is just too much for me after a long day of work. Good on you to ride at all. I am jealous.

Kel - heck of an introduction, eh? I thought the same thing too but I'll reserve judgment. I mean, when I first posted, someone thought I was a spammer cuz of my name and almost had my posts pulled even though my first post was my intro. (I saw the possibilities of confusion) Then she read them, gave me a little time and was cool. I'm sure in hind sight, she still wishes she had me bounced tho.

Kit - have a nice, stiff drive to work today. Back on the bike tomorrow tho. You need to get your legs back girl. You're only *mumble, mumble* years old! Tell H to give you a massage when she gets home tonight. No excuses.

The package should be going out this week. I think. I hope. Well, I will try my hardest. (life crashes down and it's all I can do to duck somedays) I'll send it with tracking so you can 'watch' it, ok?

BMo3 - hope this is a pain-free, fog-free day for you. Kick back, relax and let life go on around you for a while. It's ok to zone out sometimes. Actually, I can highly recommend it.

CWR - talk to you later about that email. For now, just ponder, reflect and have a coldashelljeezi'mfreezingmyazzoffwheresthenearestbeach day. Or something like that.

    later TD. Be safe.

    X.

yeah, i saw that. not a word about bicycling. I think it's either some confused soul or some guy trolling.

Eyah, it's odd. And florid prose. Oh well. And now he/she is stuck with "Sad Ranger" as username, even after he/she gets over this bump in the road and is hopefully no longer sad.

BTW - I'm all for florid prose when appropriate. and cuss words when appropriate. and poor grammar for dramatic effect. Language and its rules are merely the paints I use on the canvas of communication!

Well garage door guy came, and for those of you single and looking, he was hot!! Anyway, he will be back tomorrow and I will be out $1250. Upside, my garage door will be new and in working order.

Today is DH's birthday and I told him I expect $1250 to be spent on my birthday.

The twins are buying Chinese takeaway for their Dad's birthday dinner. YUM!

Jennifer, maybe the twins can help with the price of the door?

When my older son was 12 or 13 he told me that when he grew up he'd buy me a house with a view. (He's 28 now and living in my basement) I'm not holding my breath.

Jennifer, it's great that you have those pretty med ID bracelets now! I bet your famiily feels less worried now wehn you go off somewhere. Oh too bad about that garage door- I hate it when life gets in the way and ruins nice plans.

Mimi, too funny. Well, he did make sure that you were in a house with a view....a view of him sleeping in the basement.

I think everyone sees different numbers on their TD pages- depending on how many posts per page they have their TE preferences set to view. This page for me is in the 300's somewhere.
