How's the day going there today, CC? To entertain myself last night, I looked at a map of Australia's time zones so I would know what time it was when you posted.

    Ironman

I'm sitting here searching for accomodation for the Ironman WA as i'm supposed to be volunteering at the event. I think i'll be in tears watching the event. It's just inspiring. A few of the people that train with the tri group our coach runs(http://www.wellbeings.com.au/) are participating.

I also looked at the entrants list and think it's great that there are a lot of folks from the US, Canada, Scotland, Japan, South Africa (hop skip and a jump over here for them), Singapore, Mexico and so forth. 849 entries so far.

Here's the link to the event http://www.ironmanwa.com/

Anywho, a cool event is on in perth this weekend. Check out http://www.redbullairrace.com/race.php

The best thing is I have the best view from my office window (37th floor) We (Ian & I) will be watching it whilst having a picnic inside with a couple of co workers. This is after rushing from the open water swim i'm going to do to calm my fears of swimming in the ocean.

Salsa-are you & hubby going to do the 'Round Taupo next year??

CWR-Are you back in the cold of Alaska yet?

Nanci-do what i do and send packages in bits if you don't have all the items. I have to do that this month as an item I want is out of stock...

    X & Kit..what are you on about???

    I'll be back a bit later. I must go & stretch-I did 43km tonight

I tried to do some sprints on my ride tonight..oh dear do i ever need work..It's suggested that we get off our saddle & sprint for 30seconds...oh dear oh dear..please give me a new set of legs..

Well, I finished Down In The Valley last night. I bought it without knowing anything about it because it was on a Top Five list on the Podcast Filmspotting about people who drastically change their lives. I really don't get how it got in that category- but it had Edward Norton in it...And Bruce Dern- I think he was my first movie BF back in the 70's. I should have known better since one guy loved it and the other hated it...I'm not sure what I think. It was weird.

I also bought History of Violence, from the same category, which they both loved.

Spent the evening playing with Choco, watching the movie, watching Jackass Season One and Two, (they are so much more refined now!) and pointing at Inez's viv saying "Doesn't it look cool in there now, don't you love the fake hollow cactus, look at her climb the vines!" I can handle her TOMORROW!!!

Addy hasn't eaten. I'm weighing her weekly. She has only lost a couple grams. I think the next thing will be *****WARNING DON'T READ IF SQUEAMISH!!!!!! I AM NOT KIDDING!!! OK, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU**** cut open the frozen toad I have in the freezer (he died of natural causes, I didn't kill him, and it's not THE Mr. Toad!!!) and rub a mouse in toad guts juice. As recommended by my snake guru _and_ the snake store guy...

I am proud of myself for just letting the Charms Pop thing go. It was hard, though. I went to great lengths to resist commenting. I didn't want to blow it out of proportion.

You are amazing! You give me a lot of hope. Do you have before/after pics you wouldn't mind posting?

I feel a lot better today. A co-worker and I are going to go out to lunch today to discuss what happened yesterday (can't chit chat in the office), but I'm going to make sure to make healthier choices and then have a lighter calorie dinner. Actually if I just adjust my calories down for a couple of days, I'll hit my average target for the week, so I should be OK.

X- I'm going to blame you for my lack of sleep. Not that I didn't willingly accept it but geez... if I have to keep laughing until my sides hurt, it's not going to be very *relaxing*

Dar- How many licks does it take to get to the c- oh, that's tootsie-roll. D'oh!

CWR- Superman's such a jerk when he's had a few... nope, no chafing on the new straight jacket. much softer than mine, and I can twiddle my toes just fine!! Off to play poker with the guy who yells "Yatzi!" when he has a good hand.

Oh, X, I remembered something again from last night. "F*** You!" I'm sure you wanted a pic of my expression when I 'got it'. Didn't take long, did it? the nerve! grr. huff. grr! you keep that to yourself, young lady!

I'm SO getting the desktop that says "American π" hehehe*snort* "One time in math class..."

Ya know I just love you, Kit! Hey, you get more sleep than I get chica and I'm *mumble, mumble* years older! That was fun. Thanks for the chat. Sorry I lost you so many times. I'm gonna get my itemized cell bill and go "WTF? How many times did I have to ring her back?" We just gab too much. Even the phone is protesting. BTW, I had to change my socks cuz my feet were so wet and frozen. I love Smart Wool! Aaaah!

CC - nice to hear from ya this a.m. hehehe Novelist? I like it. When I publish, I'll send ya free copy. You can use it to prop up a table leg or something.

OTG - hey girl! Check your PM's. Hopefully it's is do-able this w/e. Hang in there. A slip is just a slip, not a fall. We're here to catch ya, hon!

mimi - You know I only pick on those I love. It just happened to be your turn. You're a big 'read between the lines' type too. In your case, you have the proper amount of restraint. I just haven't grown that organ yet. Hmmm, maybe if I have them remove my spleen, I'll have room for a restraint. Really, what's the spleen do anyway? Just lays there and adds weight to the scale...

CWR - nice to see ya got to post last night. Get some sleep and let us know what's up. Lots of love little sister! (((((CWR)))))

Oh, Kit I just remembered something too... I accept that offer! (No, not that one. You always go to the wrong place, ya know? ) Be good today little sis. Play nice with the other kids.

Have a blast today ladies and be safe.

X if you had a family like mine you'd learn restraint really quickly. It's a survival skill, and i'm dead serious here. I enjoy your silliness and spunk though.

you know i always thought cleaning up cat puke was bad, but rubbing dead mice in toad piss?

oh, Kelowna girl, are you sure? My sister can make trees die just by looking at them. And she never forgets a slight... from 40 years ago.. and makes new ones up as she goes along.

Unfortunatley, no. I've Kept my old PA Driver's Lic. that shows me at the wieght. Most people don't beleive that's it me. I also had my hair a lot longer then too.
I'm going to have un-drift here. I'm staying at the Motel 6 in Tuscon. cheap, but no wi-fi. This may be good, as i'm supposed to teach a class on Monday night, and I'm still working on my presentation.
