OY!! Man!
Just when you think your in decent shape, go take a class using totally different muscles and you will be humbled! Well at least I was!
I know that I need to build my core, and have absolutely NO flexibility, so I decided to take up pilates. My 60 year old mom (yeah she's cool) does pilates and she just looks so long and lean. Boy howdy is it hard!! But I'm determined to stick to it. I need to build my core to help with my bike position and a little flexibility will do me good.
But man o man did I step out of my comfy box today!
Oh- and I almost forgot, I'm taking a big test tomorrow. I'm going to take a treadmill test with one of those masks on to test my vo2 max and such. I want to determine what HR zone I need to be training in to burn fat. It should be interesting. I'll let ya'll know how it works out. I'm a bit nervous to be running with a mask on my face.![]()
