Knott just called, 47 miles from CA boarder, she says she's stopping to eat and get gas (hopefully not at the same restaraunt ~ you knew I'd say that though)

Mimi, the food, the bikes...we wanna hear

Back to work...carry on TE TD
He might be a 'flatlander' but he's a FIB in my mind, Dar.

Trek, I did know you'd say that. Hope y'all have a nice visit!

Snap-we shall do our best to behave while you are away. Have an awesome time!

Trek-I agree with your mother-keep moving. I would love to join you and Knot. Pity, just like MP, I so do not qualify. Let us know when she arrives. I am a mom and worry when others travel. Give Knot a huge hug from me, please?

Kit-when is your last day of work and where is the party?

Well, DH took me out of the house (he is home today due to the holiday) and I bought my SS a bike thingy (tech term it is not). Her ornamant is not here, but everything else I gathered together is. Hopefully I will be able to mail everything off Tuesday, which is early for me.

Nap time. I am trying to figure out if the after effects (is that a term?) of my stroke-me needing to nap-is a good or bad thing. Anyway, I am giving in to the nap, then will run this evening. There is something fun about running at night.

I suspect that fish in the photo he sent was just a fake rubber fish he borrowed, a phoney prop so he could pose for a picture of his hairy bod. Any guy who sends a topless photo to a girl he doesn't know yet is immediately suspect. The hat merely clinches it. You'll meet somebody who doesn't need to show his hairy chest to be appealing.

Done the pop-ups. There's more bra than boob. And nada in a sports bra.

Annie, congrats to dh on the victory!

Get better fast, Dar! Thank for the congrats. He's a happy and relaxed man overnight! We've got snow coming down now, too. Supposed to get 1-3 inches. Ugh!

Helped in hearing your opinions, yes. I am not sure about this at all! Many conflicting thoughts. (For some unfathomable reason,CWR, I can't your post to come up as a quote! )

Yeah, when I lose weight, my boobs pretty much disappear. I can be chunky and be a barely B cup, or be at the weight I like and be down to an A.

Mimi, Your Italy trip sounds incredible!! Loved your pics. I wish we saw more bike riders like that here in the states.

I agree about the Michelins, Nanci. I love the road feel, riding with them, but there's no longetivity to them at all! They get side cuts really easy.

Have fun, Snap!! I've never been to Vegas. You can tell us the fun stories.

SLOW day at work today. I think the weather is scaring people. Wimps! Here I sit, with 100's of bottles of wine, and I can't even sample. Not while officially on the clock. ::::sigh::::: Must be strong...........

Have a good weekend, TD! I'm outa here tomorrow, pretending to be a football fan. Don't go too crazy till I can catch up on Sunday, pretty please?!

I always feel better after a brief nap. When I am tired, by paralysis is most pronounced.

Annie- CWR's didn't come up in the box b/c there's a parenthesis instead of a bracket in the last bit of her html.

CWR- I'm glad. Your boobs are nice the way they are.

Trek: ETA 7 or 8 pm? I'll be on shift then (as if it matters much) but have fun

Bmo3- Today's my last day. There's no real party b/c dgf has to work tomorrow morning. I was going to celebrate by going mountain biking with my (soon to be former) manager... I asked in person, he seemed excited... I switched out my tires and everything, got all packed up, emailed him with the plan and the time and request for his opinion...
    no response.

Well **** it, I'll go anyway. Anyone want to go to Hagg lake with me for some spontaneous, cold muddy slick singletrack fun in the rain? We can go back to my house for hot coffee or tea... really!

CWR- ...well... I'm an independant judge. Totally unbiased and all that.

With all this talk of naps, I think I'll take one, too. TGIF. I'm so glad I scheduled in 2 days of 'extra' weekend to get myself accustomed to a new schedule (instead of awake at 10:30-11, work at 3, home at 11:30 or 12:30, sleep at 1 or 3ish...) it'll be closer to up at 6:30 or 7 (7 once I get a little faster biking to work) eat, dress, out the door at 7:30, get there at 8:30, wash up, eat something, ready for work at 9...

I would love to visit you, I cannot bike though. I am sorry your manager never emailed back. That s*cks.

Yes can you imagine the conversation:

DH-You must come see what I have from Alaska, utterly fantastic!
Other Scientist-Sure, I have never been, but would love to study the geochemistry of Alaska!
DH-Okay, here it is (he hands over a zip lock baggie filled with black gravel)
    Other Scientist-HUH?
DH-Look!!!!! Actual road from Cold Bay Alaska!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other Scientist-mutters something about a commitment hearing....
DH-WAIT! You have not seen THE rocks!! If you promise to be careful, I will show you the sea shells.

At least he allowed me to keep the green glass.

Well, I'm sitting here with a silly big grin on my face. The first meatloaf I've ever attempted to cook is in the oven, along with some sweet potatoes and green beans.

I know, what 27 year old has never cooked meatloaf? But dumb ex-fiance refused to try it, so I never cooked it. (I have, of course, eaten meatloaf; just never cooked it.)

But I'm absolutely exhausted, so I think this Friday night will be ending quite early for me. I want to get a nice ride in tomorrow.

Kutsune, good luck at the new gig. A new adventure awaits.

RE: boob jobs. I'm afraid if I actually lose 100 pounds, I will definitely be wanting some surgery. Don't know if I will actually have it done, though.

Offthegrid- Way to go on your first meatloaf!!

As for weight loss, I shed to be exact, 73 pounds. (YAY!) I shed the weight very slowly, all the while building up lean muscle. Everything is back where it should be, except the ravages of a belly expanding to accomadate 2 pregnancies (one being with twins) and the effects of gravity on my breasts. Thank goodness for good bras. So a bikini is out of the question, otherwise I am quite happy with my body.

Edited: I am 10 years older than you so I would imagine your body will be even more lovely than it is now and gravity will not have bothered it yet.

Quiet night, huh? Thanks for all the kind words ladies - you have lifted my spirits!

I took my son to a traveling rain forest show that came to town tonight. He had a rain foresty looking backdrop and showed off some parrots, gators, a cervil, chimp and a python. Very cool! The python was huge and took 2 adult handlers to hold it. While they were holding it, it's tail kept going up the crotch of one of the guys and feeling him up - it was quite hilarious. B and I got our picture taken with the chimp. I'll try and scan it later.

    Safe travels Snap and CWR.

I have about 5 inches of very heavy snow to shovel in the morning so I'll head to bed so I wake up all refreshed. I need to take the munchkin shopping for boots tomorrow so he can play in the snow!

    Have a great night everyone!
