Hey Silver - welcome back!
I'm so glad you are home and recovering!
I had the broken ribs/pneumothorax thing many years ago, and I really want to second some advice Margo49 gave in an earlier post - I know you want to get off the meds, but let the pain meds do their thing! It's tough to breath properly when it hurts, and if you don't breath properly, you can't relax, and it you can't relax, you don't heal!
Stay well, relax, and rest up!
And BTW, your DH is a champ for keeping us in the loop!Keep calm and carry on...
