Cycl - I like the way you think girl! ****blushing profusely**** I'm starting to think I left it at home cuz I still have one in my car.....whoops if that's the case

Oh, I went running at lunch and yep, I strained my calf muscle AGAIN. Now I can't even walk without limping. OUCH! (I must be the most accident prone person I know or I'm just wicked out of shape...). But it sure was easier running without the dogs

Weasel, my pants delivered today! Now I have to wait until I get done voting to go try on them on!

Nanci, is the new addition home yet?

Lise, we are goint to meet on Saturday for drinks. Or at least trying, I need to find a sitter yet. Italian guy keeps calling me every day but every one of his conversations has so many sexual inuendos that it's really turning me off. Time to tell him bye-bye.

    Huge Disappointment

When I got home today, our bedroom smelled very bad. I traced the source to Addy's cage and found the mouse that she actually hadn't eaten...

Oh, yeah. I had one of those. Actually named Mario. I met him for coffee. Once. He was the very first guy from match when I went back on last fall. He is a triathlete, and I wasn't savvy enough yet to tune him out based on phone conversation. He greeted me by leaning in and trying to whisper in my ear. Whoa! I think not! First meeting in Starbucks? Whispering in my ear? No. Didn't keep him from sending me winks. Hope he didn't hurt his eye muscles with all that winking. Good luck on Saturday! I'm sending positive babysitting-finding vibes your way.

10 a day! Yikes. I put in my last 8 today and I think he ate them all. Had to go out and buy another batch of crickets. Bought 50 this time. I am going to go broke feeding this toad. If he eats as few as 50-60 in a week, it'll cost me $25 a month...

Edited to remove questions you've already answered... Note to self, read before you post...

If you put the crickets in with the toad- I'd just put in a large amount- like a couple dozen, and then restock when you don't hear chirping/see crickets. They eat a lot. I have to feed the crickets, too- these little orange cubes http://tinyurl.com/y5z49b - one bottle lasts a long time. Like a year or longer. I put in two-four at a time.

Lise, do I get some sort of award if I start reading from the beginning and ever get to the end?

Voting today was definitely different. I got there at 5:45 p.m. after work and had to wait close to 40 minutes to vote. Some people were SOOOO slow. There's only like 7 races and two ballot questions; what on earth is taking so long? AND they have sample ballots hanging up so you can look at them while you were waiting. Dum dum dum dum

BUT, I will say I'd much rather have to wait in line to vote than go and have no one else there. And I thought the machine itself was very easy to use.

On the bright side, they had free coffee and were selling baked goods. On the bad side, I'm losing weight and I didn't have any money with me anyhow.
