Just remember that scandium is a fancy word for aluminum. Very very thin lightweight aluminum. Bikes using this alloy utilize huge tubes to provide stiffness. It's a wickedly light, but fairly harsh ride. Great for crit-bikes, but also prone to denting fairly easily.
