YES! She called me and couldn't remember her own number, so I asked her name and address and said "Mrs Keratosis if you can tell me that I could look up your number in 411".

She gave me the address from 40 years ago, then started to cry because she didn't know where she is now....even the city.

Yes! while you're napping in between catching baby duty your keratosis calls me.

    Ahhh....The ignore button's wonderful isn't it....

Anywho, I'm really really annoyed. I've had 3 flats in the last couple of days & i don't know why. I have kevlar tires so perhaps it's the way i'm using the tire levers...I've not been able to ride... as much as i want. I managed 10km this morning before another flat..I was right beside the train line and only had to walk 5min to the station. I didn't have time to change it as i'd be there forever and start work at 630 so I'll have to change it after work and speak to my lbs guys about it. Need to go there anyways as i only have one spare tube left....

I just want to bike...man am i addicted..I feel so bad leaving my bike at home...

Have a great day or evening wherever ya may be.

phew! i was a bit worried there for a bit. the last thing i want to do is offend anyone and be put on ignore. that and i like TE and love TD. i don't know what i would do without you girls. mainly i think i would actually have to work and gasp! that horror is a bit to much for me and my short-timers syndrome brain to take.

CC-there is no way we can rename CWR with that name-brilliant as it is. I have far too many typos and no spell checker. Think of the typos.

Wow. Today is the best laugh I've ever gotten out of TD.

senile keratosis: the keratosis that can't remember its own phone number and address.

    CWR's new name: sillyalaskanchickiewhochasesbearsandcatchesfishwithbarehands

    You people are priceless.

CC, sorry about the flats. You're not using tire levers to put the tire back on, are you?

BMo3, I hope your backup running partner is healthy and RUNNING with you.

OK, this is so scary. Did she give you the address on Orchard St. in Des Plaines, or the one on Greenview? I don't even remember the number. WAIT A MINUTE. I didn't have an age spot 40 years ago! I was six years old! Someone is impersonating my age spots! Seriously, though. Poor lady. Now I'm planning for the future. What will I do. I know. Pull out the phone book. That says what city I'm in. But will I remember my plan? Argh!

Dar--good luck, girl. We want the right guy flocking to you. You may have to weed through a bit of the flock to find him. I counted, and may have missed a few, but I think I had dates with 16 guys between last November, when I went on Match, and Oct 2, when I met J. Email or PM me anytime. I feel your pain, sister!

CC--good luck with the tires. I believe you deserve some Clif shot bloks just because.

Off to dinner with friends, will check the "I hate" thread when I get home. Oh! The Drama! I am so glad that TD has stayed a pretty safe little enclave here.
