I'm going skiing tomorrow for the first time this year. It's going to be warmish and my red and whilte shell will be perfect but it's the same jacket I had on last Jan. when I fell and tore my ACL.
So the question is do I dare start the ski season with the the same outfit that I had on when my ski season ended so abruptly last year or wear something else?
I'm wondering if the jacket will be a jinx or a good luck charm? Am I'm being overly superstitous about associating the jacket with my injury (it did not cause the accident) or is it just too much Halloween candy?
