I have the Gore Passion jacket that also doubles as a vest. I'm assuming, however, that they're otherwise the same. I really like mine. It blocks out the wind as advertised. I wore a long sleeve base layer and the Shebeest Retro jersey (also from TE) in 34-degree weather and was quite comfortable. I wore it this past weekend with just a jersey and arm warmers last weekend in slightly warmer weather and was also quite comfortable.
I do like having the option of taking the sleeves off mid-ride. I'm not sure if TE carries the jacket/vest model. I bought mine at Performance on sale for $89.
I get a lot of compliments on the jacket. Gore's styling is very nice. Finally, I'd note that I originally ordered the small and returned it for the extra-small. I'm not sure if Gore generally runs large, but I thought the jacket ran a bit big, given that most other cycling apparel seems to run small.
