Thought you'd abandoned these parts... I did go by between 4:15 and 4:45 p.m., but there are at least SEVEN SUB's in the Champaign-Urbana-Savoy trianlge. I knew when I got mine (I was third, tho' I didn't know it) that it was at least going to get a lot of admirationa nd respect from the Peoples Republic of Urbana ... and it seems they're contagious.
I understand that Gazelles basically don't export to the U.S. That's one reason I jumped at the thing. Fritz of course knew a lot about Gazelles (and told the guy it would be going to a good home ).

It's a 2003 model wiht 7 speeds... step-through frame... the dyanmo headlight and battery taillight that you can set to sense darkiness or motion... stainless steel wheels... great chain guard and skirt protector.

IF only it could embrace a Free Radical - but I don't think so. at least the whole chainguard concept would be lost. I'm also thinking I"ll still have to U-lock it if only because american thieves won't be expecting something else and they'll get frustrated and just hurt the thing if it slows down stealing it. But I"m really looking forward to picking it up on Wednesday, and maybe riding it in costume to the Day of the Dead fiesta on Sunday!

Hmmm.... it's black and white... and lends itself to "formal" attire... I'll have to think about this... (Peter is the one having the fiesta, by the way. It's all part of a cycle... )

We moved home about a month ago, AZ was too expensive.

I'm pretty sure that was you by IMPE...it was drizzling something fierce but you had a big smile on your face. Looking forward to seeing the new bike, I think a formal balck and white nuns habit would look dashing for the party.
