Today at my department's All Hands Meeting, we had a guest speaker talk about preparing for pandemic flu. Initially kinda scary; but very interesting. I found out that if we are hit with a pandemic, there is a good chance I would be put to work helping with patient care. All county employees are disaster workers, and expected to help out where ever they are needed. I have no specialized training, I'd probably end up changing sheets and bed pans.
