Glad everything was appreciated after the long delay! I thought those socks were too cute, I don't drink coffee but I love caffeine. MMMM.

Now that Sept. SS is done- the secret's out.

Ooops, so sorry I sent you the coffee Amanda. I feel bad that I sent you something you don't like (now I know to send you chocolate instead of coffee for "next time"). Hopefully you found someone who likes to drink it! Perhaps you could appease your parents with the coffee so they don't steal your shirt! Glad you liked it, and again, sorry it was late.

There was a woman who ran the marathon in front of me last month who had an A&M cycling jersey on- made me think of you the whole way (well, half of the way since she was on lap two when I was starting lap one). Go Aggies!

I am keeping the coffee for company in our new house. My mom and inlaws LOVE coffee and I never have any when they visit. Now I have something to make. I may not drink it but the gift will appease the masses!

That is so great about the A&M jersey! We're everywhere.

BTW- I had no idea who Tanya was and you say you're from Tornado Alley, I never realized it was you! Thanks again for the great gift.

    Nanci -

Totally worth the wait!!! I love both T-shirts...and I pray my husband loses no more weight or he'll want to steal them!! I'm going to wear the six gap for the next year in training so that I can ride it next year!

The water bottle is perfect. I have a pink one just like it that goes with my road bike and just the other day, I was thinking that I needed a cool colored one to go with my commuter. Since I just bought a laptop backpack in lime green (off SAC...also thanks to you!), the bottle choice is perfect!!

Oh, and since I've never had an accident/wipeout yet, the bravesoldier stuff is bound to come in handy very soon! (though, let's hope not!)

    Thanks again...you totally rock!!

That Crash Pack is like insurance- filled with cool stuff you'll never get to use- because if you're prepared- you'll never crash!

A friend of mine had a bad MTB crash at what's that huge bike expo in LV- Interbike. Brave Soldier had a booth there, and they fixed him all up using the mesh dressing stuff- it worked really well.

SORRY it took forever- but I first of all had to wait for the event which was near the end of the month- that's my excuse, anyway!

I am glad you like it, and hope to reform myself in October.

    Hey! Too cool, ChickWhoRips!!

Thank you for my fabulous T-shirts! I really like them both. I love the Bearfoot Inn one, and btw, Mr. Salsa says to tell you he's been to King Cove, False Pass, and flew through Cold Bay, during his tugboater days. And you know I'll be happy to wear the Team In Training one for your local guy---glad he was here, glad he's better--and I too like the back's "It's a hill---get over it".

And I LOVE my coral snake! Nice choice! Ditto the apple cinnamon gels. (yes, for those deep in thought, the snake is a toy)

Thank you for a really great September SS collection! I love it all.

Yeah! Yeah! She gave me a toy coral snake. It's hanging on a hook upstairs right now where I hope it will scare the crap out of the construction crew tomorrow. Now THERE is a truly thoughtful Secret Sister.

Alaska is a very cool place. I would love to come visit sometime. I expect Mr. Salsa would far prefer Cold Bay to, say, Dutch Harbor, a place he saw often. Thank you again!

Thumbs up Got my September SS Package today...

    ...via Fed Ex, no less!
    THANKS, ANN!
Love the t-shirt -- yes, it fits, boy BOY! You're right...they run small! -- and the chocolate. Yum! Can't wait to dive into those. The only way to make dark chocolate better is to add coffee to it, so I think I'll be sampling that one first! Will have to hide them from DH.... hmmmmmm...
    Two thumbs up!
    Thanks again!

The package I sent just came back in the mail. I copied the address down incorrectly.

I will be resending as soon as I can get to the post office, which will probably be next week. I'm *so* sorry for the delay! It's coming...I promise!

To The Best SS In The Whole Wide World.....

Crazy canuck you are the BEST. Thanks from WA to WA

In all seriousness, you outdid yourself.

I received not one, but two t shirts from the beautiful Western Australia. One is captioned "Margaret River" showing dolphins, fish and a whale. Now that I think about it, when have we in the US ever named geography after women!

The second shirt is Aboriginal-designed art by a woman called "Women's Ceremonial Place" by Maureen Hudson Nampajimpa. Also I found a jar of Karri honey, a wine bag listing Australian wineries, a photographic book of South West nature and parks and beautiful postcards and a nice written card.

Thank you for furthering my appreciation of Australia, especially of areas I knew so little of before. I hope to travel there someday and will include WA as well.

Lastly, thanks for making the world a little smaller, a little cozier, a little warmer. Sisters are sisters everywhere!

    Yay

    YAYAY...

Quilfred it took me ages to decide what to send...What does one send when one can't find and now knows Perth bike shops don't sell local bike shirts??

Also, I was so worried about it being late!!!

If you ever want to come down to WA & kayak there are some wonderful places to do it. Hopefully the magazine will tempt you to venture down this way...

No crocs down in south western Australia!!!!

SS in San Jose, CA thank you so much for the package it did wonders for my spirits today ! I'm home with a raging kidney infection and I really needed a pick-me-up! I love the t-shirt. I have a secret love of anatomy and so the skeleton on the bike is perfect not to mention it will be a topic of conversation in my science class in the near future! Thanks also for the note cards, I love the cat on them. The lip balm and the Tide pen will come in handy I know (how did you know I'm always dropping food on myself?). Finally, the cats and kittens have been enjoying the cat toys - up and down the hallway they all go, needless to say they are a big hit amongst my feline friends. Thanks again and I'm looking forward to showing off my really cool "Cycling For Life - Berkeley" t-shirt!
