    Good Morning!

Salsa- I am glad things are a little better for your mom, my continued prayers. I am glad your home renovation is going well. The highlights will be lovely. Enjoy your ride.

Kit- something to weird for TD? I am sorry you are unhappy at work. Taking the phone into the bathroom, eeewww. Tlak about no privacy. I am thinking very positive thoughts for your interview. Keep us posted.

Lise-Than you for the update via PM.

I am off to do housework (ick), exercise (yay), and figure out what to wear for my run this evening, as it is suppose to be cooler (yippee) and rainy (YAY). The school keeps scheduling meetings which conflict with my running schedule.

The sun is coming up, and it looks like a great day for a bike ride! Gotta work this morning, then I'm rushing home cuz I'll have 3 hours before I get SKnot, so I'm going for a 3 hr bike ride. (sing it with me now: "A three hour tour")

    Yay!

    Mimi coming up for air!

Hi guys. Yes, it is such a beautiful day that i deliberately left late to go to work so i could ride in with a semblance of daylight. And for the first time, I met a coworker who lives near me! so we went in together on the scary streets. My last mile of "cool down" became warm up because he's a fast rider. Owell. it was fun anyway.

Update about the pet shop: 15 minutes of fame can translate into a lot of money. They got a lot more $$$ than they ever imagined and for once their budget is not on a shoestring. All the hurt cats are getting better. they have a wish list and a lot of people just gave them things off their wish list. so now they have a room full of bleach and a room full of paper towels!
They had me take those things off the list!

Knot! No! (now the song's stuck for good... Great!) The one complete episode I saw (too sick to change the channel so I suffered) was one where the Doctor said the island was sinking. I think I ranted about the bad science for a good hour afterward...

CWR- Yay for encouragement! and if encouragement doesn't work, threats are always welcome as long as you follow up on them...

BMo3- Too weird. It's ok, I'm over it- it's passed. but yeah, the phone thing bugs me. Nothing like being in the BR with about 5 other ladies, having the phone ring, and having to say "Okay- No one flush!!!111oneone!"

It occured to me that I was being so cautious about my dating life on line because I was seeing various guys, and didn't want them checking up on me. Now that I'm so enjoying seeing the Southern Gentleman, who cares? I'm happy! Whoo hoo! He will henceforth be called "J", by the way, since the abbreviation "SG" is the same initials as my ex's name (where's the "barf" icon?) He is such a cool guy, nice, funny, smart, has a great deep voice with a southern accent...sigh. I get to see him again tomorrow midday. We're fitting in times to see each other, since between my trip to DC and his move, there won't be many opportunities for the next week and a half. How wonderful to have someone who makes a way to see me when the time is tight. This feels really good.

And now for something completely different...my elbow's even feeling better. Not *all* better, but a lot better just today. The chiro did some different things on Saturday. I'm seeing him again tomorrow afternoon (he's the other man in my life...make the pain go away and I'll love you forever! ) I hope to soon be back to normal with the elbow. That would be great.

It's getting cold, wet, and windy here. Even predicting some snow flurries. Today I talked to J. about how beautiful the lake is in the winter. I look forward to sharing that with him. He's from the south, and hasn't lived a winter near Lake Michigan yet. What's so cool is that he loves it up here. Anyone who loves my city is a notch up in my book. Hmmm, is dating someone new sufficient reason to get yet another winter coat? I guess not.

YES! Yes it is, especially when you live here. Here's my suggestion for warmth with style and sass:

    http://www.landsend.com/cd/fp/prod/0...&CM_MERCH=SRCH

It's longer than a jacket, the filling is warm but thin so it doesn't make the wearer look bulky, and pulling up a hood can be cute and romantic! And it's Land's End, so it's good value for money.

    Happy shopping ...

I am pleased to hear your elbow is feeling better. And yes, you definitely deserve a new jacket. Which did you have in mind?

No money left for a social life or anything else I might want for the next month (at least), but who cares about that! And when I do get back to my mtb, I'll be fast.
