Oh gosh, that's terrible! So sorry to hear it. I am a new mountain biker, and my biggest fear is a broken bone. I've had a couple of crashes, some sore parts and contusions, but no broken bones...yet. I hope you will heal up very fast.

And your bike is gorgeous! She'll be waiting for you when you're ready.

    Take care,
    Emily

Well, I'm a little late, but wanted to tell you how nice the bike looks.
Good grief, I can't believe you broke your arm on the first ride. Glad to know you are okay though. Hows the bike. Did she fair okay? I didn't see on any of the post whether she got scratched up or anything.
Only ask about it because I know already you are going to be okay.

Yeah she's fine... Mighty dusty (nothing a lil wash can't fix!), but only a couple of minor scratches on the handlebars. Paint job is still perfect! Now that's what I call a good stack! (cept for the broken arm thing)
