what to do, what to do...

Everyone is asleep (except my upstairs neighbor. For such a tiny woman she sure can stomp around on my ceiling).

Do I make breakfast, or do I take Flossie to the patio and clean her chain?

Or do I pour another cup of coffee and keep playing on TE?

    Mission Accomplished

I ordered the last of my SS gift for October. Thanks for the suggestions. Now hopefully delivery will be speedy so I am able to promptly ship everything off to her. I love swapping.

Knot, more coffee and Mae says "you should go for a run with Stinkybutt dog" that'll cheer both of you up

We're working on a plan for a single women-only Velo Girls ride TBA on the VG calendar. I think we've settled on a date place and time....now working on recovery meal afterward location.

    Bored, bored, bored. Entertain me.

I went to DeAnza Flea Market today - always fun. A couple of enterprising ladies have converted an old trailer into a very nifty coffee/espresso/latte shop. Very cool, and so much better than the people that sell awful coffee in the liter cups. I found a great steet sign for my office cubicle "GOA WAY" And Sox!!! And a patchwork kinda hoodie made by a woman from Nepal. Shopping therapy. It's a good thing.

I'm watching Ray Davies on PBS right now...(younger girls are now scratching their heads......Ray Davies?)

    alone, all alone.

Well, I am talking to myself, but that is okay, I am fine company.

With my October SS covered, I thought I would think of me. Heck I deserve to pamper myself. I found a new bike store (well new to me) and bought a pair of socks with runners, swimmers, and bikes on them (tri socks). I was so excited to get home. I cannot bike, but I can run. I bought myself my first ever pair of trail, mud, slosh, snow running shoes...Brooks Adrenaline™ ASR. Whoo Hooo! So I hurry home because I really want to run and wear my new tri socks for inspirations. Disappointment was soon to follow when I took out the socks. The packaging was marked small BUT the socks inside were XL!!!
Now I need to drive (okay be driven) all the way back to get a refund. This was the last pair they had, so so much for my inspirational tri socks.

As soon as I return I am hitting the trails. It is a gorgeous autumn day here. I hope everyone is having a splendid day.

FWIW-I was not driving, per the doctor's request. DH was playing chauffeur.

    Just call me Tri-less.

No, no! Be not sad, B3! For TE has many tri socks! http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=16375

KN, hope you got out with the dog or the bike, or whatever.

It's a gorgous day here. I rode my bike downtown (7.5 mi) to see the chiropractor. Elbow's still hurting. He did some different things today. I'm starting to get frustrated with it. Hope the new stuff helps.

Rode home, stopped on the Roosevelt bridge to eat my PB&J, soak up the sun, and admire my city from that angle. From that bridge, I can see all of downtown, the river, and train tracks. The land between the river and the tracks is a little slice of the prairie in the midst of all the city. As I munched, I saw they were raising the draw bridge to let sailboats through on the river. So we all, cars, bikes, runners, peds, waited for the bridge to go back down. It was quite a sight--the bike lane went straight up in the air. That drawing of the bike, the arrow going....directly up into the perfect blue sky. I said to one of the other cyclists, "That's quite a bike lane." She replied, "Go for it! "

And now...a nap. Seeing the S.G. for dinner tonight. MWBR!
