Thanks, Lise! The only hill I ever tackle is on the south end of the Lake Path. I make it a point to hit it both ways, though, rather than going around because I know it's my only real chance to do it.

So I am here at the request of my GF to better understand the mindset of female cyclists.

If you wanted to "understand" women cyclists better, perhaps it would have been more prudent to ask questions in a polite manner, rather than make macho, adolescent comments.
Just from the few postings you made, you seem more interested in posturing and inflating your own ego, as opposed to listening, learning and understanding.

You're absolutely right Bluetree. I am working on listening to and understanding and respecting women cyclists better. I have the "ability" to speak my mind and I guess I'm too up-front about things. I shall keep opinions aside, do more reading and less talking, unless I have a valid question that someone would be happy to answer.
