Veronica, what a wonderful jacket! After seeing the pictures yesterday, I dreamed that you and SadieKate were doing a cross country ride together. You stopped in Chicago, and I was going to ride as far as the lakefront bike path would go. Because I'd just seen your picture, you were acurately represented in the dream. SK, however, looked unfortunately like a social worker at the hospital (
). Not to worry, SK, you're much cuter in real life.
So, let me know when you'll be stopping by for dinner! I mean, three doubles in one year! Is a little jaunt cross 2/3 of the country all that much for the likes of such a cyclist? I think not!

Even though I've followed your travels, I'm sorry I haven't been able to be more involved in your actual rides. But you certainly have a permanent fan club member here!
Yesterday, you were in my thoughts as I trudged up Morgan Territory Road. It was steep enough having started from Heather Farms. I kept thinking- "Veronica managed to do Mt Diablo and then came over here and did this stinker of a hill!!!.. and to top it off she kept on going up more hills....."
Needless to say, your footprints are encased on that road! You were with me in spirit if not on the bike! I'll do that ride again. It is indeed beautiful even if there are a few killer climbs in there!!!! Nancy
