actually i wasn't referring to anything in particular. you can use your imagination for what *censored* is in that.

i was trying to joke and lighten the mood seeing im in a GREAT mood now that i'm drying off and warm. and i don't like when everyone is upset.

though after all that my kodak moment seems kinda insignifcant.

and does that mean you wont give me all your personal information trek?

    The end.
A few unrestrained guffaws here, but no water in my mouth for a change.

MP!!! Where did you go camping? Was it fun?

SK, am thinking about you and dad.

Mom a little better today, still living on the edge. Contractor meeting went OK--we got him to agree that we would dock him part of his profit if he didn't make the next milestone date ('course, that would engender some arguing and negotiating, but still a big improvement, we hope. He does do excellent work, just not timely. So let's hope...will periodically keep you posted. Or, if you read about me in the newspapers with a Lizzie Borden kind of theme, you'll know it DIDN'T work).

I couldn't find the earlier posted Maizey pic, but looked up corn snakes and saw a pic there. Boy, they're gorgeous.

Shirley Jackson (remember "The Lottery"?) used to have a cat who was passionate about cantaloupe. And the Siamese cat I had as a kid used to love canned asparagus. And goofy Nina, the half-Aby cat mentioned above with the mouse-sitting thing, gets absolutely wild-eyed with ecstasy over drinking the liquid in a can of chick peas--that is really hilarious to see. They're all so funny, and so different one from the next. Endless entertainment.

You can PM me about wine any time you want to. Unless you're telling me not to write about that, either. And don't think I don't worry about the person(s) who are not able to drink alcohol for personal reasons. I do.

I rode the Zero X for 30 miles today. It was ok...I want to see what I think on a longer ride. I adjusted the tilt up and down a bunch of times. It sits so low on the rails it is hard to adjust. I wonder what the difference is between pressure on the bones versus actual pain. Because I _feel_ the saddle on my bones, but it doesn't hurt, but it is very noticable. Then I have some sort of, I don't know, maybe one of those weird blood vessel things right in the underwear-leg crease, that gets irritated easily, (it's been there forever- sometimes causes more pain, sometimes it's not noticeable) that was bothering me today, so if that was totally gone, would I like the saddle more?? It's much better with bike shorts than pajamas...

    I had a great ride/float/swim/picnic today.

Yosemite. We pretty much go every year with DH's parents, his sister and her family. We camped at Tuolomne Meadows 4 days and then spent a few days at Wawona (with a real room - though for us, sharing a DOUBLE bed is worse than camping! ) Anyway, it was GREAT. I will post pics in a few days. I did some AMAZING hikes. After a time, no one wanted to hike with me. Don't know why. I guess it's my pace. Trying to stick to the 4 mph pace, which is a challenge on rough terrain at altitude (10,000 plus one day). Kids had rivers. Saw lots of deer, chipmunks, squirrels. No bears.

My BIL and I did a 13 1/2 mile hike one day with the most amazing view I have ever seen. I will post a pic of that but it won't do it justice. We did it in about 4 1/2 hours, which was pretty zippy - included some sitting by a lake to contemplate my new blister.

    MWBR...,.

Nanci - that underwear leg crease thing makes me wonder if the saddle's not too wide and if you should try the zero Y....

salsa, my brother had a siamese that loved watermelon rinds. She also liked to latch on to his cocker spaniel's ears; then Pepper would spin in circles. Animals can be quite bizzare......

MP- I even had it on my MTB- it's been there for the last three permanent and two trial saddles. (Like since 1999) I thought at first it was an ingrown hair, or cyst, or, I don't know. Probably not the same ingrown hair for seven years, huh? I ought to have my gyn nurse look at it, but it's never there when she's looking at it. See this kind of vague purplish deal that you can't feel or anything? Well, when I ride my bike, sometimes, but not always, it swells up to the size of half a pea and hurts like a bi*ch!! Sometimes. Then it's gone in a day. I have worse things to worry about.

Salsa, I found Maizey last July when I had pneumonia and couldn't go to work but felt guilty laying around so was out doing yard work with a 104F fever. I lifted up a pile of brush, and there she was, like a jewel in the grass. I love her. But not this week, after all the trouble she's causing!

I had banana pudding after my ride, and after my swim/float down the river. it apparently didn't cause me to break out in world peace...

If you join the Trek Fan Club, you too can glean important personal information! Call now, with your credit card handy!

(Hi Trek, dear! send me those credit card numbers, ok?)

Hey, speaking of nice abs (not that we were, but I'm rather high on myself at the moment) I think my legs look particularly nice today. The big black numbers add a certain je n'sais quois. but actually, while I was admiring my numbers i just happened to notice that my legs are fiiiine. I should post a before pic from when I was around 200lbs. And an after pic of my lovely lustable legs. (and abs. mustn't forget the abs)

Yes, ladies, I am FULL of myself today!

I musta missed something with the PMs and censored stuff. As usual, I'm in my usual state of confusion. 'sokay though. Had a wonderful ride today with my sweetie and my dad's MRI shows no brain involvement. Woohoo!

We still have to deal with what's going in his abdomen. The cancer was above the diaphragm before so who knows. But for the moment, I'm rejoicing.

Since it'll go right up here anyway, apparently, I'll post it here, because I'm neither a "p*ssy" nor am I anywhere near deserving of the outburts I've gotten handed to me this evening.

"Nanci. Calm down. If you want, I can post every single PM I wrote verbatim, and the people who've had to read this exchange can judge for themselves if all this was really necessary. I think this is petty and juvenile. I only PM'ed you because I think saying something privately, aside to someone is far more respectful to them and their peers than putting it on the public board, and God so help me, if I ever offend anyone, I hope they extend the same courtesy so I know where my limits are. I'm glad we could discuss this like adults."

Puerile thread hijack over. I'm sorry this ended up involving you all.
